Bengara is a historic, traditional Japanese color skillfully produced by firing and mixing iron oxide extracted directly from the earth. It is a 100% natural and eco-friendly dyeing method: the process requires only water, and at the end of the cycle, the pigments return harmoniously to the earth with no environmental impact.

Through the promotion of Japanese dyeing culture, our goal is to foster:

  • Care for belongings: rediscovering the value of reuse and respect for objects.

  • The joy of creating: experiencing the pleasure of making something with your own hands.

  • The value of individuality: expressing oneself freely through color, without the pressure of "doing it well," but rather letting spontaneity and playfulness lead the way.

We aim to offer a form of dyeing that fits into everyday life, weaving together ancient tradition and contemporary daily routines.

Bring your stained T-shirts, worn socks, or any fabric you wish to repurpose: we will dye them together using the traditional Bengara technique!
