We are delighted to share the culture of tea (Chanoyu) abroad and promote international exchange through this ancient and refined art.
The custom of drinking tea, originally brought from China, evolved in Japan into Sadō (the "Way of Tea"). In recent years, alongside a growing passion for Matcha, there has been widespread international interest in the aesthetic sensitivity of Wabi-Sabi and the spirit of Zen, both intrinsically linked to the tea ceremony.
In Chanoyu, we place fundamental value on the principle of Ichigo Ichie (一期一会, "one time, one meeting" or "a once-in-a-lifetime encounter"). We look forward to sharing this special experience and a cup of tea with you.
